Course Description

Aims to equip participants with a scientific / analytical mindset to support making informed decisions based on data, models and "what if" sensitivity analyses. Overview of statistics, decision analysis and simulation modeling to teach how to apply basic techniques of data analysis to practical managerial decision making. Develop an ability to generate fact-based decisions supported by timely data analyses in this "Big Data" era, with a focus on understanding the results of "Big Data", understanding how complexity can be deciphered to enhance decision-making.

Prerequisites: Pre-MBA competency as approved by the MBA director. 3 Credits
