Noel-Levitz Student Satisfaction Inventory (SSI)

RNL LogoThe SSI survey asks students about their expectations and their degree of satisfaction with a broad array of RMU services, including both instruction and student support activities. These services run the gamut from instruction in their major to academic advising, financial aid, parking and residence hall conditions. The results of the SSI enable RMU to ascertain the degree of student satisfaction with specific services as well as the degree of importance that they place upon each service. These results enable RMU to prioritize its resource allocations to either address deficiencies or to invest further in areas that students rate as important. The SSI was administered at RMU in the spring semesters of 1998, 2003, 2005, 2009, 2011, 2013, 2015, and 2017. This survey has yielded a rich store of longitudinal data that RMU uses to track its performance over time in regard to student satisfaction with specific services. 

RMU has closed the significant lags that it formerly had with the national comparison group in regard to student expectations and satisfaction.
