Section will be taught totally online with no scheduled class meetings. Students must arrange for daily access to a computer and the Internet prior to the start of classes. Course Description

This course is designed to provide knowledge and skills needed for implementation of leadership and management roles within professional nursing practice. Units of content focus on leadership theories and skills, management skills, budgeting and finance skills, quality care skills, and information technology skills. Students critically examine influences on healthcare today, and plan for active participation in the processes of leadership and management within a variety of healthcare settings.

Prerequisite: NURS3070, NURS4010, NURS4016, and NURS4036 3 Credits
