Course Description
A minimum of 300 hours of supervised clinical experience in an approved off-campus internship setting. This course is the first of two internships as required by the Pennsylvania LPC board. The course provides students with further direct therapy experience and supervision at a community agency, hospital, counseling center of their choice with the program's prior approval. Specifically, the course is intended to enhance your therapy, diagnostic, and/or assessment skills in accordance with ACA Ethics Codes and legal requirements for the LPC in Pennsylvania.
