Course Description
This course introduces concepts related to physical activity, movement,and health, including the application of assessing, maintaining, and improving muscular strength, endurance, and flexibility of individuals. Skeletal and muscular structures are examined through the lens of physical activity and the promotion of human health. The course introduces the history of kinesiology, builds on scientific principles of movement and health, and applies research from the health sciences.
