Course Description
This course covers the fundamental building blocks of the interdisciplinary field of cybersecurity by considering both technical and management aspects. Students analyze cyber threats and vulnerabilities and examine common cyber defense technologies and best practices. The cybersecurity tools, methods, and components to protect networks, operating systems and applications are explored. The human, legal, privacy, and ethical aspects of cybersecurity are also examined. The goal is to prepare students for advanced study in cybersecurity.
