Course Description
This course helps the student to become familiar with the basic mathematical principles of Interest Theory and Financial Mathematics. Mathematical fundamentals of present values, accumulated values, net present values, effective and nominal interest and discount rates, annuities, and bonds are presented. This material covers a large portion of the Society of Actuaries Financial Mathematics Examination.
