Course Description
This course is designed to give students an introduction to using the R statistical programming language to write basic programs and analyze data. Students will learn the fundamentals of programming and writing functions. They will learn how to clean, organize, and perform basic data mining to extract information and relationships for various types of data. To aid in this, students will produce statistical graphics using R?s base capabilities and the more advanced ggplot function. Some basic statistical simulation will also be covered.
