Course Description
This course is intended to meet the needs of students who want to safeguard computer operating systems by demonstrating server support skills and designing and implementing a security system. Students will use specified steps or measures to protect the OS from threats, viruses, worms, malware or remote hacker intrusions. The use of best practices will be explored to configure operating systems to industry security standards and to safeguard any computer assets capable of being stolen, edited or deleted if OS security is compromised.
