Course Description

This course consolidates what students have learned in other CRM courses. For this reason, it is suggested that students take this course last. The Application of Risk Management helps students tackle the daily managerial and organizational requirements of risk managers and consultants. Financing of Risk is often an intricate and complex task. In this course, students will compare various financing options: non-insurance transfer, guaranteed cost plans, retro plans, dividend plans, pools, and various types of captives. Students will learn how to deliver the message to management in present value dollars.

Prerequisite : MBAD 6111 - Contemporary Topics in Risk Management
