Section will be taught totally online with no scheduled class meetings. Students must arrange for daily access to a computer and the Internet prior to the start of classes. Robert Morris labs are to be used only as a backup in special situations and may not be relied upon for extended periods of time. In addition to the Internet link, online classes have a large emphasis on email. Course Description

This course is a comprehensive and engaging study into criminal investigation. This class focuses on five areas critial to a successful investigation: analysis, evidence, legal procedures, evidence collection, and forensics. Critical thinking, writing anc communicstion are essential skills as the students will present their finding at the end of the semester. Classroom instruction will consist of lectures, reinforced by the text, videos, disucssion, labs, and supplement readings.
