Course Description

This course is an introductory course for anyone interested in mathematical structures with emphasis on computer implementation. The course includes topics related to symbolic logic, logic circuits, propositional calculus, set theoretic concepts, number systems such as binary and hexadecimal, relations and functions, mathematical induction, recursion, methods of proof, Boolean Algebras, and graph theory.

Prerequisites: MATH2070 with a "C or better" 3 Credits
