Course Description

The course introduces the fundamental principles of cloud-based network management and administration. The course starts with a brief overview of cloud architecture and services and moves on to cover how to manage network resources. It covers the concepts of cloud-based switching, routing, subnetting, and routing algorithms such as Border Gateway Protocol. The course emphasizes critical cloud network management concepts such as virtualization, containerization, automation, and so on. Students learn how to apply the different tools used by network administrators for network management. This course helps students build core cloud administration skills necessary to establish, maintain, and troubleshoot cloud networks.

Prerequisite: INFS 2230 Computer Networking
