Course Description
This course provides students with an introduction to the chemical basis of environmental issues and the environmental consequences of modern technology with an emphasis on the sources, reactions, transport, effects and fates of chemical species in water, soil and air environments. Areas covered include: tropospheric and stratospheric chemistry, toxic organic and inorganic pollutants in the environment, the chemistry of natural waters, and environmental analytical techniques
