Course Description
Since strategic Human Resource Management is emphasized heavily nowadays in the workplace, it is essential for human resource professionals to cultivate quantitative analytical skills. This course exposes the students to the quantitative skills needed to analyze data pertaining to the HRM field such as selection, legal compliance, measurements, forecasting, interview, performance appraisal, and compensation. Attention will also be given to various statistical analyses used to investigate issues within HRM. Focus will be placed on finding answers to HRM questions. Facilitated with textbook and case studies in HR topics, this course will help students build up the necessary problem-solving and critical-thinking skills as a HR professional.
Prerequisites: MGMT3600 & MGMT3180. 3 credits.
