Course Description
This is an elective course that can serve as a capstone course for the BS/BS degree in environmental sciences. The student works with his/her advisor to identify a project of mutual interest and researches the topic and prepares a significant written document or other work of scholarship that outlines the methods of investigation, the scope of the project, the results of the project, and the significance of the results. Extensive literature research and/or laboratory study are to be part of the senior thesis. Presentation of the results of the work at a departmental seminar is required
