The SentryShoppingCart is a visual tool that holds the courses in your Preliminary Registration.

Similar to selecting items in a grocery store and placing them in your shopping cart, you select courses and add them to your Preliminary Registration (Shopping Cart). After the selection process is complete, you Submit your course selections (Checkout).

The Submit process verifies your Preliminary Registration. If all courses pass the registration criteria, your Preliminary Registration is transferred from your Shopping Cart to your Schedule.
