RMU celebrated Homecoming and Parents & Families Day on Saturday, Oct. 14, 2006. The morning kicked off with hospitality tents and tailgating. Pre-game festivities included temporary tattoos, balloon artists, caricature artists, a climbing wall, and entertainment from the RMU Pep Band. The Robert Morris football team celebrated a 23-17 victory in double overtime against Central Connecticut State at Joe Walton Stadium. Other highlights from the day include the alumni flag football game, Alumni Achievement Awards Presentation, women's Ice Hockey versus the Union at the RMU Island Sports Center, and RMU Colonial Theatre's presentation of Brighton Beach Memoirs.
