Course Description

This course provides a deeper introduction to functional areas of health services administration including the areas of human resources, quality management, performance improvement and finance. The student will begin critical thinking about current challenges and future solutions of healthcare system design and reform. The student will be introduced to health service professional roles in the functional areas and key knowledge necessary for effective management decision-making.

Prerequisite: HSAM1275 3 Credits
