Course Description
This course engages supervisor candidates in 360 hours of a performance based field experience and practicum that must be completed during the course of a school year. The candidate, guided by a university supervisor and a school district mentor, will design and implement a curriculum and instruction leadership plan that demonstrates their knowledge of and competence in each of the skills identified in the four Domains in the Pennsylvania Deparmtnet of Education's Framework for Leadership: Strategic/Cultural Leadership, Systems Leadership, Leadership for Learning and Professional and Community Leadership. After completing all activities in their leadership plan and required courses, the candidate will present their portfolio of achievements before a panel of RMU professors and administrators during an oral defense of their field experiences and practicum.
