course may meet live online Wednesdays at 9am Section will be taught totally online with no scheduled class meetings. Students must arrange for daily access to a computer and the Internet prior to the start of classes. Robert Morris labs are to be used only as a backup in special situations and may not be relied upon for extended periods of time. Course Description

TThis course is presents an overview of human responses to illness including behavioral, physiologic, and pathophysiologic manifestations. Emphasis is placed on common conditions related to functional health patterns. Principles of disease transmission and immunological responses are integrated. 3 credits

Prerequisites: BIOL1220, BIOL1225, BIOL2370, and BIOL2380 or concurrent with BIOL2370 and BIOL2380
