Course Details

This course will be done in an online synchronous format. This class will sometimes meet virtually onTuesday and Thursday from 8:00am - 9:30am. Students must have internet access for these discussions as it will be available only via livestream at the designated class time. All asynchronous course materials will be available for download via blackboard which can be accessed at any time. Section will be taught totally online with no scheduled class meetings. Students must arrange for daily access to a computer and the Internet prior to the start of classes. Robert Morris labs are to be used only as a backup in special situations and may not be relied upon for extended periods of time. In addition to the Internet link, online classes have a large emphasis on email. All messages from the instructor and other information regarding online classes, including user ids, passwords, and login instructions will be sent to your Robert Morris University email account. Course Description

This is the second course in a three-course calculus sequence. Topics covered include applications of the integral; area between curves; solids of revolution; moments and centroids; logarithmic and exponential functions; indeterminate forms; derivatives and integrals of trigonometric and inverse trigonometric functions; integration techniques and improper integrals; infinite series and sequences including Taylor and Maclaurin series.

Prerequisite: MATH2070 with a minimum grade of "C"
