Course Description

This course focuses on major concepts of nursing care, including therapeutic intervention and decision-making. Students learn to perform psychomotor skills with individual client needs as a priority. Classroom and laboratory activities along with simulated patient scenarios guide the student through the acquisition of basic nursing skills. Application of the nursing process and critical thinking is emphasized.

Prerequisites: NURS2010, NURS2020, and NURS3030 or concurrent with all three courses

Co-requisite: NURS0301
