Section will be taught totally online with no scheduled class meetings. Students must arrange for daily access to a computer and the Internet prior to the start of classes. Robert Morris labs are to be used only as a backup in special situations and may not be relied upon for extended periods of time. In addition to the Internet link, online classes have a large emphasis on email. Course Description

This course provides students with an overview of fund development techniques and strategies. Students will learn to analyze the funding opportunities available to their organizations, to employ the correct development techniques and create a comprehensive, long-term development plan. Students will consider their choices in an ethical framework; will match the human resources needed for each development task and to explore local, regional and national resources.
