Course Description
This practicum allows the student to implement the theory which is covered in NURS9220 Diagnosis and Management of Geriatric Clients. Students are assigned to a preceptor in a variety of primary care settings with an emphasis on the geriatric client. Students will diagnoses, plan, implement and evaluate therapeutic regimens for geriatric patients with conditions commonly encountered in primary health care settings.
