Course Description
This course seeks to consolidate previously learned knowledge and design skills in visual communication and to introduce the student to wider and more complex communication design problems. Emphasis throughout is on individual learning, and by continuing the study of the design process students increase their abilities in creative and critical thinking. Assignments take the form of a range of coordinated design problems and solutions take the form of drawings, roughs, models and computer print outs or ?comps?.
Technical and craft skills will be acquired not in a vacuum but through the active participation in solving specific design problems and the need to communicate ideas through skilled manipulation of various materials and processes. 3 credits
