Course Description

This course introduces students to theory and hands on application of multi camera studio production. The course consists of lectures and structured labs in the RMU TV control room and studio. Emphasis is on learning and applying terminology, aesthetics, and fundamental principles to planning and executing television programs within a live on tape context. Using Academic Media Center projects as models, the course stresses the inter relationships of equipment and personnel using a team approach. Labs provide students with a working knowledge of broadcast equipment, facilities, and industry standards. The co-requisite course must match session and section.
