Course Description

This practicum allows the student to implement the theory which is covered in NURS9170 Diagnosis and Management of Adults I. Students are assigned to a preceptor in a variety of primary care setting. Students will diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate therapeutic regimens for patients with acute conditions commonly encountered in primary health care settings.

Prerequisite: NURS8135

Co-requisite: NURS9170
