Introduction
Program Overview
The Master of Science (M.S.) in Human Resource Management degree program at Robert Morris University addresses the need for competent human resource managers with an advanced understanding of employee retention, development, succession planning, compensation, benefits administration, health care, retirement planning, pensions, finance and decision sciences.
The program combines the academic rigors of a master's degree with the practical skills needed to succeed in human resource management. You'll gain a strong theoretical foundation in the field while learning to apply theoretical concepts to the workplace.
While some human resource master's degree programs focus on functional areas such as labor or industrial relations, RMU's program provides a more strategic focus, preparing graduates for careers as successful HR managers and executives and key members of an organization's leadership team.
