ORGL6300 - Leadership and Communication
Fall 2021: Doctorate
This course enables students to understand the theories and processes by which people construct and interpret messages that influence attitudes and events. Multiple considerations on each side of the exchange affect the effectiveness of the communication. Individual and group interactions are explored within the organization as well as about and with the organization itself, providing students with opportunities not only to think about the purposes and effects of communication but how critically leadership is dependent on communication.
