PSYC3755 - Intro To Clinical Mental Healt
Summer 2026
This course provides an orientation to the professional practice and science of clinical mental health counseling. History, major theoretical orientations, and scientific underpinnings of clinical mental health counseling are explored as well as current developments in practice and research. Topics include clinical health professions, clinically related research, treatment efficacy, specialized training, and orientations to the major activities of clinical mental health counseling. Ethical principles are strongly emphasized.
