ENGR5040 - System Simulation
Summer 2025
This course covers stochastic system modeling and computer-based discrete events simulation methods.
The fundamental probabilistic distributions representing system performance and behavior are
introduced. Data requirements and collection for system modeling are discussed. The course also covers
the process of designing successful simulation projects and analyzing simulation results. Students will
design, build, verify, and validate computer-based system simulation models using industry-accepted
simulation software.
