MGMT3700 - Labor Management Relations

Summer 2024

Management-Labor Relations explores the relationship between management and organized labor in the workplace. The course focuses on the organizing process and how unions function in the modern workplace. Special attention will be given to the negotiation process and the development of a bargaining agreement. Student will also gain an understanding of the grievance and arbitration procedure and how they impact the role of a manager.
Prerequisites: MGMT2000 (formerly MGMT3100) and 60 credits. 3 credits.
