HIST2700 - Rome: Republic and Empire
Summer 2024
This course will provide a comprehensive exploration and analysis of the society, economy, and culture of Roman Civilization spanning two milennia between 800 BCE to 1453 CE. Special attention will be paid to the Roman impact on religious and political institutions, public law, and European relations with Islamic and African civilizations.
