ENGR6280 - Human Factors In Healthcare
Summer 2021
The course will deal with human factors and design issue related to healthcare. This will include the design of healthcare facilities based on Evidence based design, methodology and task analysis in healthcare, future healthcare technologies (operating room of the future, telemedicine, health smart home), data display in medical systems (auditory, visual, tactile, olfactory, multimodal), errors in medicine, damage from bad design and design for special populations (gender, elderly, disabilities).
