ENGR5630 - Numerical Control Systems

Summer 2021

This course covers the fundamentals of numerical control systems including how to create a mathematical model of part geometry, how to program a CNC machine tool manually and with computer assistance, components of CNC machine tools and their functions and selecting the right applications for numerically controlled manufacturing systems. This course includes laboratory exercises.
Prerequisite: ENGR5010 or ENGR5020 or ENGR5030
