HSAM4951 - Intrnship: Hlthcr In S. Africa

This exciting summer faculty-led program will take place from May 13th - 27th, 2019 in Johannesburg and Cape Town, South Africa. As an emerging market with both continental and global influence, South Africa offers students the unique opportunity to witness and learn firsthand about health and innovation systems within one of the largest African economies. The prevailing entrepreneurial spirit and systems change, despite the many years of institutionalized division created by apartheid, as shaped practice and discourse to positively impact the development of the Southern African nation going forward. The burgeoning environmental of South Africa's health and entrepreneurial activities to create a more inclusive society provides an intellectually stimulating environment for this study abroad program. Each course will be designed to mirror the content of our on-ground (SBUS) and online/on-ground (HSAM) sections.
