B.S. in Organizational Leadership, and Professional Computer and Information Systems
Academically qualified undergraduates may pursue a program of study that combines virtually any bachelor's degree major with one of six master's degree options in the School of Communications and Information Systems. The student will receive both degrees in just five years.
Master's Degrees
The School of Communications and Information Systems offers six Master of Science options. Five of them, the M.S. in Information Systems Management, M.S. in Information Technology Project Management, M.S. in Competitive Intelligence Systems, M.S. in Internet Information Systems and the M.S. in Information Security and Assurance, are offered by the faculty of the Department of Computer Information Systems.
Interdisciplinary Master's Degree
Jointly offered by the Department of Communication and the Department of Computer and Information Systems, the
M.S. in Communication and Information Systems admits students with a background in either of the two fields and enhances their currency and knowledge in both to prepare managers for today's changing organizational environment.
Organizational Leadership
Employers and experts agree that the most important skills in the workplace are often not taught in traditional degree programs: interpersonal skills, conflict resolution, leadership, problem solving, critical thinking, creativity, emotional intelligence and the ability to work in a diverse environment. RMU's M.S. in Organizational Leadership will provide you with all of these essential skills
RMU's M.S. in Organizational Leadership is also the university's first fully online master's degree program, allowing you to complete your master's degree on your schedule, from anywhere in the world.
Doctoral Degree
The highest degree offered by the school is the interdisciplinary Doctor of Science in Information Systems and Communications. The D.Sc. degree is a rigorous three-year, executive-style, low residency doctoral program. Applicants must have earned at least a master's degree or first professional degree and have gained significant professional experience. The program is intended for those with higher-level decision-making and problem-solving responsibilities in business, education, government or nonprofit entities.
