Athletics Club Scholarship Renamed for Welling Fruehauf
Moon Township, Pa. -- The Robert Morris University Colonial Athletic Club executive board has voted unanimously to rename its scholarship The Welling Fruehauf Colonial Athletic Club Scholarship.
Since 2004, the scholarship has helped RMU student-athletes further their education. Now, the scholarship, which is being increased by the board from a $6,000 annual grant to $10,000, will carry with it the name of one of the best friends the RMU Department of Athletics has ever known.

Fruehauf ('63, M '06) is president and chief executive officer of the Fruehauf Group Ltd. in the North Hills of Pittsburgh. Two years ago, he received the athletic department's appreciation award in recognition of his many years of support for not only Colonial athletics but for his overall support of the university.
Mr. Fruehauf is also a longtime member of the RMU Board of Trustees, and his tireless efforts on behalf of not only RMU student-athletes but the entire student body at his alma mater are greatly appreciated.
