In the summer of 2006, we conducted our fourth biannual survey of technology use by nonprofits in the region around Pittsburgh. Our sample is 285 organizations of diverse sizes, missions and technology profiles.

A few representative findings:
-44% of organizations budget separately for technology
-62% of organizations that use accounting software use QuickBooks
-43% of organizations provide their mobile staff with laptops
