RMU Alert
At RMU we understand that we must be able to alert students instantaneously at critical times. RMU ALERT is our emergency notification system that rapidly sends text, voice, and network broadcast messages in critical situations such as power outages, weather-related closings and delays, and campus security situations.

Get familiar with Google Apps for Education
Going Google
RMU is a Google school! Students have access to Apps for Education which include Drive (spreadsheet, documents, etc.), Calendar, Sites, Chat, and Video Chat (great for communicating with family!). Google Apps are collaborative so they're perfect for group projects.

Check out your classrooms before classes begin
RMU Classrooms and Technology
Click on your classroom ID to view a 360-degree panorama of the room. Students currently in the Communication Skills Program (CSP) will need to familiarize themselves with this technology to proficiently present speeches and presentations in a professional setting. These classroom pages show just how small and personal each room is with the average class size being 24 students.

Find the Jefferson Computer Lab and learn how to use your printing account
Computer Labs and Hours
The computer lab in Jefferson is equipped with Windows and Apple Lion PCs, a printer and a printer release station. This is a great place to work on group projects or print assignments. |
Other Services
myRMU
myRMU is the web page with links and information for students to use on a daily basis.
Sentry Secured Services
These are online applications for class schedules, registration, grades, etc.
Wireless Internet Access
RMU has wireless access in all residence halls and wireless printers on campus and at the Island Sports Center.
Printing
Each semester students get a personal printing account with a balance of $30. Printing to an RMU printer deducts from this account at the rate of 10 cents for black and white pages and 75 cents for color pages. If students remain within the $30 allocation, printing is free for the entire semester! To add funds to a printing account visit Student Financial Services in the lower level of the Revere Center. VMware View Remote Access
This link will describe the process for using Windows general lab software and getting access to your student network drive while off campus.
