This annual event provides an opportunity for students interested in actuarial careers to interact exclusively with actuarial employers, both local and national. RMU is hosting this event for the benefit of its 80 plus actuarial science majors as well as non-RMU students from around the region. We expect 13 actuarial employers to send representatives.
The 2009 Actuarial Career Day is made possible in part by the generous co-sponsorship of UPMC with additional contributions from ACTEX Publications. The 2008 Actuarial Career Day was attended by 112 students, 60 from RMU, with 52 additional students representing 16 different local and regional institutions.
All registered students will be invited to submit their resumes by e-mail in advance of the Actuarial Career Day. A complete resume packet will be sent to employers several weeks beforehand so that employers can initiate contacts with participants and set up interview schedules for the day of the fair.
