Dean's Welcome

CONGRATULATIONS—you have just landed on one of the most exciting web pages on the RMU website. It’s exciting because I get to tell you why you should take the time to explore all it has to offer.  I guarantee this newly revised website will direct you to places and resources that will enhance your academic experiences and provide you with a variety of networking opportunities that were previously unavailable. Without getting bogged down in jargon and platitudes, our goal is simply to provide you with a relevant and easy to navigate website that will fulfill your research needs.

While the entire Library site includes fabulous content, I want to particularly encourage you to visit the Faculty Toolkit, Student Toolkit and Ask a Librarian. Whether you are a student or faculty member, the abovementioned will guide you in a variety of ways to the physical and virtual resources that are available at RMU.

I believe "What's New?", the Library blog, is one of the best ways for us to share information and connect with our users.  I envision this to be one of the hallmarks of our website and look forward to the exchange of ideas that will inevitably percolate. Services outlines the variety of services we offer including Interlibrary Loan, Media Services, Electronic Reserves, etc. And the remaining sections are equally rich in content and serve to provide you with important information.

This website is a reflection of technology and the people who make it work.  It should be noted that even with all this wizardry, we haven’t lost the human side of our operations. So while 21st century technology has provided us with more and better tools with which we can communicate, we're still people relating to other people. Let us know how we are relating to you.
