Rooney International Visiting Scholar Progam
The Rooney International Visiting Scholar Program seeks to enhance the richness and diversity of teaching and scholarly activities at Robert Morris University by inviting qualified individuals to serve as visiting faculty members. International visiting scholars offer a unique opportunity for faculty and students at RMU to learn about the theory and practice of their discipline in other countries by collaborating on mutual teaching and research activities.
Rooney scholars work closely with faculty, students and administrators to enhance and promote Robert Morris University's academic programs and research. During their tenure at RMU, Rooney scholars are expected to conduct presentations, seminars or workshops on their teaching and research areas that will be open to faculty, students and the public. They also collaborate with faculty and students to submit papers to journals and conferences.
