Ph.D., Biology/Microbiology, Institute of Botany, Lithuanian Academy of Sciences

Kalevitch joined the RMU full-time faculty in 2002 after previously teaching at Carlow College, Butler County Community College and LaRoche College. She also was a scientific researcher at the Russian Academy of Sciences and a laboratory manager at the Kerr Center for Sustainable Agriculture. She holds a doctorate in biology from the Lithuanian Academy of Sciences, Vilnius, and master's and bachelor's degrees in microbiology from the Biotechnological University, Moscow.
