New Student Orientation

Robert Morris University is committed to assisting new students in making a successful transition into the campus community. Several orientation programs are offered through the Office of Student Activities to provide assistance to new students.

Fall Orientation:
A weekend program held in late August designed specifically for first year and transfer students. The weekend includes social events and activities designed to help students meet other students and become familiar with the campus. Upperclass Student Mentors assist the department staff with this program.

Spring Orientation:
An evening program in early January designed to acquaint all new students with the programs, services and resources available at the institution. The program is hosted by the Division of Student Affairs.

Commuter/Evening Student Receptions:
A series of evening and Saturday receptions offered at the beginning of each semester. Student Affairs staff are available to answer questions and provide assistance. Campus resources are also available. Students are encouraged to stop by, enjoy complimentary refreshments, and meet with our staff. Programs are held in the lobby of Hale Center.
